Online Music Marketing With Topspin

On January 12th the very first “Online Music Marketing With Topspin” course started at Berklee College of Music’s excellent online school, BerkleeMusic.com and right now they’re enrolling for the second run which starts April 5th (next week!).

The first course was very well received and to our joy and surprise enrollment was capped due to popularity. I think I speak for everyone here at Topspin when I say we were proud and excited to see this take off but also *really* nervous. We were honored to work with Berklee to build the class and pleasantly surprised to see so many people sign up. But what if it sucked? It was hard to predict the reaction. We just had to jump in and see how it went.

Also, this course marked the opening of Topspin’s software to a wider audience. We’ll be making Topspin available to marketers more broadly in just a few short weeks, but the Berklee students taking this course are getting first crack at Topspin’s self-serve direct-to-fan marketing and retail platform.
