New Feature: Schedule Email Blasts

scheduled email

If you’re based in the USA, timing your email blasts to hit European fans during mid-day hours can be a pain (unless you’re like me, and you stay up til 3:00am watching infomercials every night).  It would be far more preferable to schedule your emails to send at a specified date & time in the future.  Don’t you wish Topspin’s app could do that?

Well, Aladdin, consider your wish granted!  Our newest user-friendly feature lets you decide when your emails get sent.  When creating an email blast, just check “Schedule Send”, assign a date and time (down to five-minute increments), set your include/exclude rules as usual, and sit back & let the Internet do its thing.  This nifty feature has myriad uses — for example, you can send two identical emails at different times to your fan bases in the US and Europe, in order to hit them during their respective daytime hours.  Or you can pre-set a bunch of emails reminding your fans about upcoming shows before you head out on tour, just in case your Internet connection gets spotty on the road.  However you choose to use it, we think you’ll appreciate this new functionality (don’t worry, you can still send emails immediately upon creation if you choose).

NOTE: the time zone in this feature is set to US Pacific time (it accounts for Daylight Savings when necessary), so adjust your selection accordingly based on what time zone you reside in.  Also, be aware that include/exclude rules are set upon initial creation of an email, not upon sending.  Happy emailing!
