Thirty Tigers is the venerable (and Grammy Award Winning!) Artist Management, Marketing and Label Services organization from Nashville that’s been responsible for some of the city’s best Roots, Indie Rock and Americana releases in the last ten years. Their roster is an eclectic mix of artists, but they all share something in common – a passionate and dedicated team that really knows how to develop fans, create momentum and drive music sales.
Thirty Tigers thrive on a true philosophy of partnership and embraced Topspin as their Direct To Fan platform from very early on. As one of Nashville’s earliest clients, they’ve weathered the learning curve and growth of the platform, but have been rewarded with a deep knowledge of the inner workings and a fundamental understanding of how to connect, engage and monetize the opportunities with their fans and it shows in the growing success of their roster.
They’ve taken advantage of the full spectrum of tools to grow awareness and build an audience using Email for Media and Streaming Media widgets directly from their own sites across their roster.
Along with great fan acquisition, awareness and direct marketing campaigns that drove significant growth to their roster’s Email, Facebook and Twitter communities, Thirty Tigers also used the platform to power e-commerce across the board. They created a handful of really smart pre order bundles for Indie stalwarts – Those Darlins – which helped them to chart on the Billboard 200, created a limited edition ticketing package For Trampled By Turtles‘ last hometown show in Minneapolis (allowing fans to buy single tickets – w no fees – or an exclusive T Shirt bundle + Ticket – w no fees!) and converted Amy Speace, TBT, Shannon Whitworth, Caitlin Rose and Elizabeth Cook’s store fronts to Topspin powered stores. They’ve grown their staff to include a dedicated Topspin expert and continue to educate and empower their roster to have a deeper, more engaged relationship with their fans.
2011 is the 10 year anniversary for Thirty Tigers and they’ve ushered in an amazing year with high profile events at SXSW and Nashville, as well as, much anticipated releases from artists like Ron Sexsmith, Flogging Molly, The North Mississippi All Stars, The Apache Relay, Tony Joe White, Kyle Andrews, Paul Thorn and many, many more.
